Tinkerer. Fell in love with computers at 10, math at 12. All my high school was guided by my constant curiosity about the world, especially physics, math, and a pint of philosophy. Got accepted to the electronic engineering program at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, 2 questions marked my north: what is a transistor? and how does a processor work?
Enjoyed all my college time as **% of my courses were math-related and my questions got answered paving the way to new and broader questions as I had the opportunity to enter Intel Corporation as a field engineer intern and noting that not only the engineering part was important for a product, but also how to sell it to customers and how my product can improve lives of persons with the use of technology.
An opportunity became a reality as I was accepted into a training program for integrated circuit design in Brazil that lasted for a half a year. Family first, I decided to come back to Colombia to continue my journey here, got accepted into the biggest technology company from India TATA Consultancy Services and learned that math, not only for engineering is universal.
Networking is essential when talking about entrepreneurship and career development which let me enter (trough another colleague from internship) to ASUS Computer Corp. where I had kind of a freedom to apply everything I have learned so far, all with the intent to solve problems and make everything easier for all in the laboratory I was working. Freedom also came with more time, so I enrolled in a MSc program in Artificial Intelligence in the International University of la Rioja and learned some tools (not as powerful as todays AIs) that let me analyze AI from the power consumption angle and how it was going to impact our carbon footprint.
